Job Name: Sous Chef

Location: Sunny Hyde Up

Reports To: Executive Chef

Schedule: Full Time – Immediate Hire

 

Job Summary

Sunny Hyde Up is a high-volume brunch restaurant looking for an experienced Sous

Chef who knows how to run a kitchen and lead from the front.

If you’ve led shifts, managed a line, handled ordering, and can keep a team dialed in

during a rush—we want to talk to you.

 

What You’ll Do

Run day-to-day kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef

Lead shifts, work expo, and support the line during service

Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and prep systems

Train and develop kitchen staff

Maintain food quality, consistency, and kitchen standards

 

What We’re Looking For

3+ years in a fast-paced kitchen

Previous leadership experience (Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Lead Line)

Strong understanding of kitchen operations + food safety

Can handle pressure and keep a team organized and focused

Reliable, accountable, and ready to lead
