Job Summary
Sunny Hyde Up is a high-volume brunch restaurant looking for an experienced Sous
Chef who knows how to run a kitchen and lead from the front.
If you’ve led shifts, managed a line, handled ordering, and can keep a team dialed in
during a rush—we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
• Run day-to-day kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
• Lead shifts, work expo, and support the line during service
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and prep systems
• Train and develop kitchen staff
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and kitchen standards
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years in a fast-paced kitchen
• Previous leadership experience (Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Lead Line)
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations + food safety
• Can handle pressure and keep a team organized and focused
• Reliable, accountable, and ready to lead
